Before becoming a self-claimed fitness- entrepreneur, Robert ‘Brix’ Glover weighed close to 350 pounds, and lived a lifestyle of overeating, and partying. In 2013, his close friend died of a health complication associated with obesity. Fearing the same fate, Brix began a hard-fought journey to lose 140 pounds by learning to eat clean and work out efficiently.
Now, Brix is showing thousands of people how to transform their own lives. He offers online fitness programs, coaching, and personalized nutrition plans.
His tribe ‘The Brix Squad’ numbers in the millions. Since the beginning of his weight loss journey Brix has shared his trials and triumphs online, and social media. His self-produced podcast ‘Get Well, Get Money’ features bold discussions on finances, fitness, and mindfulness. His YouTube channel has garnered over a half a million subscribers, and over 35-million views. Brix believes the key to sustaining a healthy lifestyle is a change in mindset. It’s why all of his programs and content focus on forming healthy relationships with food, self, and the power of mindfulness.
Robert has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Norfolk State University. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He now resides in Newport News, Virginia with his two children.
